Player of the Week: Chris Telesford, Columbus State
Telesford was consistently excellent all week with 18.5 points
and 9.5 rebounds in two games for the Cougars while shooting 62%
from the field. The senior began with 20 points and nine rebounds
in a six-point loss to Montevallo, then had 17 points and 10
rebounds in a three-point win at North Georgia. Telesford also
averaged 2.0 blocks per game and hit two three-pointers while going
5-of-6 from the line. Now leads the PBC in rebounding with 8.4 per
contest and is also ranked 12th in field goal percentage and
blocked shots.
