Stewart anchored a Braves defense that recorded back-to-back conference shutouts last week. The junior from Swansboro, N.C., helped hold Georgia College to 10 shuts with just three on goal in a 1-0 win. She also scored the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 28th minute, her first of the season. The Braves then held Georgia Southwestern to just one shot in a 3-0 win, their fifth shutout of the season which is tied for the league lead. UNCP is also second in the conference in team goals allowed average with only five allowed in eight games.
