AUGUSTA, GA – The USC Aiken Pacers swept past Young Harris to advance to the semifinals of the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Tournament on Friday. Set scores were 25-20, 25-11 and 25-14. USC Aiken, the #3 seed in the tournament, will now meet second-seeded tournament host Augusta on Saturday at 2pm. The PBC Tournament is being played at Christenberry Fieldhouse at Augusta University.

Young Harris led midway through the first set 16-15 following a kill from Lily Hidalgo, but the Pacers responded with two kills and an ace to start a 10-4 run to end the set

YHC scored the first point of the second set, but USCA got the next seven in a row, opening up a 10-3 lead. YHC cut that to 10-5, but would get no closer as the Pacer would run off eight points in a row midway through the set to win 25-11

USCA scored the first nine points of the third set and never allowed the Mountain Lions closer than five points for the remainder of the match

USCA hit .351 in the match as a team with only 12 errors in 94 total attacks; the Pacers also held a 9-4 edge in service aces and 34-28 in digs

Emily Lammers had eight kills for the Pacers while Alisha Pitt added seven; Kayla Duggan led the team in digs with eight while Mallory Barash had 23 assists
