Maziane drove the Mountain Lion offense in two wins last week with a part in five of the six goals the team scored. The freshman forward from Casablanca, Morocco, opened with a goal and two assists in a 4-0 win over USC Aiken then scored another goal with an assist in a 2-1 win over North Georgia. Against the Pacers, he assisted on the first two YHC goals before halftime and then found the net himself to produce the final score. He then assisted Sondre Olsen to open the game against North Georgia on a goal just six minutes in, but UNG came back to tie before half and the score remained there until there was less than 10 minutes to play. Maziane positioned himself at the right post and finished a great three-pass sequence for the game-winner. He leads the PBC with six goals scored on the season and is tied for fourth with three assists. He also leads the league in total points and points per game.
