Lemons impressed over four games to begin the 2022-23 season, averaging 20.8 points per game while shooting 48% from three-point range. The sophomore guard from Cincinnati, Ohio, scored 22 with eight boards in the opener against Florida Southern at the Small College Hall of Fame Classic, then scored 11 more against #1 Northwest Missouri State in the second game. He followed tha up with 22 points in a win over Southern Wesleyan and 28 in a win over Anderson. He hit 12 of 25 three-pointers over the four games, adding 4.00 rebounds and 3.75 assists per game while shooting 52% from the field. Lemons leads the PBC in scoring, is second in three-pointers made per game, fifth in three-point percentage and eighth in assists per game.
