Men's Basketball Player of the Week: Jarrett Adderton, Georgia Southwestern

Adderton was huge in a pair of Hurricane wins last week, averaging 24 points per game. The sophomore guard from Thomaston, Ga., began with 20 points and six rebounds against Clinton, then followed that up with 28 points and three boards against Albany State. He hit 11 of 14 shots in that game, including five of seven from three-point range. He was 9-for-9 from the free throw line in both games combined and added 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game. His 28 against ASU is tied for the second-highest single-game total in the PBC this season. Adderton is currently fourth in the PBC in scoring, third in free throw percentage, sixth in three-pointers made per game and third in steals.
