Nesi finished in fifth place and helped Flagler to a third-place team finish at the Eastern Florida State Fall Classic on Saturday. The junior from Middleburg, Fla., covered the 8k course in 26:00.5, just 23 seconds out of the lead. He ran an average mile in 5:13.9 and his 8k time is the fastest in the Peach Belt so far this season by nearly a full minute. Seven teams and 78 runners participated in the meet.
