Ramirez finished in sixth place at the Valdosta State Border Clash, helping the Saints to a second-place finish in the 9-team field. The sophomore from Pace, Fla., covered the 7.25k course in 23:46.4, only 16 seconds out of the lead. His average mile of 5:16.6 was the best among all PBC runners during the opening weekend. He improved by 11 seconds over his time at the 2021 Border Clash.
