Chavis guided the #22 Mountain Lions to a pair of road wins last week, averaging 28.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. The sophomore forward from Chesapeake, Va., scored 27 points with five boards in a win at Columbus State. He then scored 30 points, just two off his career high, with 10 rebounds in an overtime win at Flagler. The 30 points is tied for the most scored in a single game in the PBC this season. For the week he shot 61% (23-38) from the field and added 3.0 assists per game. Chavis is currently ranked eighth in the PBC in scoring, fourth in rebounding, sixth in field goal percentage and ninth in free throw percentage.
