Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Quadaija Langley, Lander

Langley was clutch in the biggest possible way as she hit two late-game shots for the Bearcats in two wins, including against a top-10 opponent. The freshman guard from Travelers Rest, S.C. hit a layup with 44 seconds left as Lander held off Columbus State 58-57. She then hit a jumper against #10 Georgia Southwestern that gave Lander a 62-61 lead in a game they would win 64-61 go give GSW their first conference loss of the season. For the week, Langley averaged 13 points per game. She had nine assists against GSW and 6.5 assists per game to go with 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Langley is currently ranked sixth in the PBC in scoring and fifth in assists.
