Player of the Week - Jarrett Adderton, Columbus State (Sr., G, Decatur, Ga.)
- Averaged 27 points and six rebounds per game as the Cougars went 2-0 on the week with wins over Francis Marion and Georgia College & State University in the PBC opener
- Scored 30 against GCSU, including the game-winner with 14 seconds left in a 61-60 win...scored 24 with six boards against FMU...shot 58% (7-12) from three-point range and hit 11 of 12 free throws
- Leads the PBC and is 17th in NCAA DII in scoring with 22.3 ppg...also ranked eighth in the league in field goal percentage, fifth in three-pointers made per game and 11th in steals
Women's Basketball
Player of the Week - Quinasia Abercrombie, Augusta (Fr., F, Greenville, S.C.)
- Had back-to-back double-doubles, averaging 14.5 points and 10.5 rebounds as Augusta improved to 6-2 on the season with wins over Converse and USC Beaufort in the league opener
- Scored 10 points with 11 rebounds against the Valkyries, then had 19 points with 10 boards against the Sand Sharks to begin PBC play...shot 55% from the field and 67% from three-point range, adding four assists and two steals...had seven offensive rebounds in each game
- Currently ranked seventh in the PBC in rebounding
