LOUISVILLE, KY -- Eight Peach Belt Conference softball players have been named All-Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). Five players were named to the first team with three on the second team. All first-team selections are now eligible for All-America consideration.
North Georgia led all PBC schools with five selections, four of those on the first team. Lander had two pics with one first-teamer while Georgia College & State University had one on the second team.
The NFCA All-America team will be released prior to the NCAA national championships.
