MEN’S SOCCER
Player of the Week
Luke Williams, Flagler
Junior, Forward
  • Notched two goals to help Flagler post a 2-0 record on the road this week
  • Scored the opening goal in a 2-1 victory vs Lander
  • Scored the opening goal once again in the 4-2 victory at Middle Georgia
  • Williams is tied for second in the PBC in goals scored (5)
Defensive Player of the Week
Asbjorn Saevik, Clayton State
Senior, Defender
  • Helped the Lakers to a 2-0 week with impressive defensive performances 
  • Held anchor the Clayton State defense to a shutout in a 2-0 victory vs Lincoln Memorial, where he also scored the second goal, allowing just 9 shots, four on target in the win
  • Assisted the opening goal in a 3-2 victory vs USCA, allowing just eight shots, four on target in the victory
Goalkeeper of the Week
George Roke, Clayton State
Junior, Goalkeeper
  • Helped the Lakers to a 2-0 week, while conceding just two goals
  • Faced nine shots, four on target with four saves and kept his third clean sheet of the season in a 2-0 victory vs Lincoln Memorial
  • Faced eight shots, four on target and made two saves in a 3-2 victory vs USCA
  • Roke leads the PBC in save percentage (.789) and saves per game (4.50) and sits second in saves (45) and shutouts (3). 
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Player of the Week
Ellie Fuller, GCSU
Graduate, Forward
  • Scored three goals as GCSU went 2-0 on the week, extending their unbeaten streak to eight matches
  • Scored a hattrick in a 5-0 victory vs Albany State, scoring from each shot she took
  • Fuller's hat trick was the first for the Bobcats since Ali Amrozowicz scored three goals in October 2024 against Christian Brothers.
Defensive Player of the Week
Ella Gembicki, Flagler
Sophomore, Defender/ Midfielder
  • Scored two goals and assisted once to help Flagler to a 1-1 record on the week
  • Scored a goal, and assisted on the equalizing goal before falling 3-2 to #11 Nova Southeastern 
  • Scored the opening goal in a 2-0 victory vs Clayton State, holding the Lakers to just three shots in the game. 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Leah Hayes Coen, Lander
Junior, Goalkeeper
  • Faced 13 shots, seven on target and made seven saves in a 1-0 victory vs USCB
  • Hayes Coen now sits at four shutouts on the season, tied for most in the PBC
  • In PBC action, Hayes Coen has the lowest goals against average (.382), has the lowest goals against (2), highest save percentage (.917) and is tied for the most shutouts (3)
 
VOLLEYBALL
Player of the Week
Katie Miller, Lander
Senior, Outside Hitter
  • Helped Lander to a 3-0 week, totaling 48 kills, 27 digs and 8 total blocks for 59.0 points
  • Had 22 kills and 15 digs in a 27-point performance in game one vs Middle Georgia, followed by 12 kills, four digs and four total blocks in game two
  • Miller’s impressive .304 and .440 hitting percentages at the weekend left her averaging .302 for the week
  • Miller leads the way in the PBC in kills (3070, kills per set (4.39), service aces (44), service aces per set (0.63), total points (370.5) and points per set (5.29)
Specialist of the Week
Enisilina Savelio, Lander
Junior, Setter
  • Helped Lander to a 3-0 week, totaling 115 assists, averaging 11.5 assists per set along with 16 digs, three service aces and three total blocks
  • Notched 27 assists and seven digs vs North Greenville
  • Had 46 assists and 12 digs in game one vs Middle Georgia, followed by a 42 assist and eight digs in game two
  • Savelio is second in the PBC in assists (655) and assists per set (9.36), and third in the PBC in hitting percentage (.322)
MEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week
Hunter Smith, North Georgia
  • Tied for fifth at the Copperhead Championship
  • Shot rounds of 72, 72 and 68, finishing the tournament with a score of one under par
  • Smith’s three under par in the final round moved him up seventeen places to close the tournament tied for fifth
 
WOMEN’S GOLF
Golfers of the Week
Kajsa Lindqvist, Lander
  • Tied for ninth at the 12th Annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial
  • Shot rounds of 69, 72 and 73 while making 11 birdies throughout the tournament
  • Finished the tournament at two under par
Ellie Jane Riner, North Georgia
  • Tied for ninth at the 12th Annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial
  • Shot rounds of 73, 70 and 71, making 15 birdies throughout the tournament 
  • Finished the tournament at two under par
