MEN’S SOCCER
Player of the Week
Callum Stokes, Lander
Sophomore, Forward
  • Scored four goals last week to help Lander to a 2-0 week and secure the #2 seed in the PBC Tournament
  • Scored a hattrick in Lander’s 5-1 victory vs #19 North Georgia
  • Scored a goal in Lander’s 3-0 victory vs USCA in the final game of the PBC Regular Season
  • Stokes now has six goals scored this season
Defensive Player of the Week
Filip Hornburg, Flagler
Freshman, Defender
  • Helped the Saints to a 1-0-1 week to close out the regular season, playing all 180 minutes
  • Scored two goals in a 4-1 victory vs USCA, allowing just nine shots on target
  • Helped anchor the Flagler defense that held #19 North Georgia scoreless in a 0-0 tie, allowing just four shots on target
Goalkeeper of the Week
Ryan Rivas, Flagler
Junior, Goalkeeper
  • Helped Flagler to a 1-0-1 week, adding his seventh shutout of the season on Saturday
  • Faced 15 shots, nine on target with eight saves to help Flagler to a 4-1 victory vs USCA
  • Faced eight shots, four on target and made four saves in a 0-0 tie with #19 North Georgia
  • Rivas currently leads the way in the PBC with seven shutouts, 65 saves and a .802 save percentage
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Player of the Week
Mia Robinson, Columbus State
Sophomore, Forward
  • Scored three goals and assisted two as Columbus State went 2-0 on the week
  • Scored two goals, and assisted two in a 5-0 victory vs Montevallo in just 53 minutes of action
  • Scored one goal in a 6-0 victory vs Albany State
  • Robinson has 7 goals and 5 assists on the season for 19 total points
Defensive Player of the Week
Sophia Leal, Columbus State
Sophomore, Midfielder
  • Helped Columbus State to a 2-0 week to close out the regular season
  • Helped the Cougars hold Montevallo to 11 shots, five on target in a 5-0 win while adding an assist
  • Helped the Cougars hold Albany State to 5 shots, three on target in a 6-0 win 
 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Heidi Harris, Columbus State
Senior, Goalkeeper
  • Held opponents scoreless in 157 minutes of play to help the Cougars to a 2-0 week
  • Faced 11 shots, five on target and made five saves vs Montevallo
  • Made 2 saves in 68 minutes vs Albany State
  • Harris has not conceded a goal in her last four appearances and has six shutouts on the season so far
 
VOLLEYBALL
Player of the Week
Anna Sommer, USCA
Senior, Middle Blocker
  • Helped USCA to a 2-0 week, totaling 33 kills, 9 digs and 15 total blocks, averaging a .552 hitting percentage
  • Had 8 kills, 5 digs and 4 blocks while hitting .421 in a 3-1 victory over UNC Pembroke
  • Had 13 kills, 8 total blocks while hitting .619 in a 3-0 victory in game one vs Middle Georgia
  • Had 12 kills, 3 digs and 3 blocks while hitting .611 in a 3-0 game two victory vs Middle Georgia
  • Sommer leads the PBC in hitting percentage (.379), total blocks (102) and blocks per set (1.21)
Specialist of the Week
Clare Sheedy, Flagler
Senior, Setter
  • Helped Flagler to a 3-0 week, totaling 104 assists, averaging 10.40 assists per set along with 34 digs and 16 kills
  • Notched 30 assists, eight digs and five kills in 3-0 win vs Saint Leo
  • Had 33 assists, eight digs and four kills in a 3-0 win in game one vs Augusta
  • Had 41 assists, 18 digs and seven kills in 3-1 victory vs Augusta in game two
  • Sheedy continues to lead the way in the PBC in assists (1,042) and assists per set (10.42)
WOMEN’S GOLF
Golfer of the Week
Henriette Stranda, Flagler
  • Won the 23rd Annual Flagler Fall Slam with a 10 under par with rounds of 69, 68, 69 for a final score of 206
  • This was her second title in three tournaments this fall
  • Her second round 68 is a season-low round and her 54-hole score was a season-low. Stranda finished with 15 birdies and 34 pars. 
  • She is ranked No. 2 in Division II by SCOREBOARD.
