- Helped CSU to a 2-1 week, scoring 56 points across three games
- Scored 26 points on 8-10 shooting, while adding three assists and four steal in a 103-64 win vs Abraham Baldwin
- Scored 12 points on 4-9 shooting, adding two rebounds, an assist and a steal in a 64-60 victory vs Lander
- Scored 18 points with two rebounds, two assists and a steal vs Flagler
- Langstaff II is averaging 10.1points per game this season so far
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
Taniyah Bowman, USC Beaufort
Junior, Forward
- Helped USC Beaufort to a 2-0 start to conference play, averaging 22.5 points per game
- Bowman scored 28 points on 10-for-14 shooting while adding 4 rebounds, six assists and six steals in an 72-64 victory over USCA
- Scored 17 points with three rebounds, three steals and two assists in a 62-60 victory over Lander
- 25 of Bowman’s 43 points this week came in the fourth quarter, as she helped USCB to two comeback wins in a row to open conference play

Avery Jaynes, Augusta
Senior
Facing a nationally competitive field loaded with Division I athletes, Jaynes ran 13:58.81 in the 5,000 meters to set a new Peach Belt Conference indoor record and Augusta indoor school record.
Field Athlete of the Week
Davonte Jackson, Clayton State
Senior
Jackson had another standout performance in the jumps to start his senior season. Jackson finished in ninth in the long jump (6.89m), 10th in the triple jump (14.10m), and finished eighth in the 4x00m relay.

Madison Thomas, Augusta
Senior
Junior Madison Thomas led Augusta with a third-place finish in the 5,000 meters, running 17:49.24 - the third fastest PBC 5K time
Field Athlete of the Week
Gabriella Lawrence, Clayton State
Junior
Lawrence had a great start to her Laker career at the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker. She finished 11th in the triple jump with a final distance of 11.12m, which is good for fifth all-time. She followed that up with a 5.05m performance in the long jump which is eighth all-time in program history.
