CSU's Adderton Garners D2CCA All-America Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, IND -- Columbus State's Jarrett Adderton collected his second All-America honor of the week as he was named second-team by the Division II Conference Commissioners' Association (D2CCA).  Adderton had previously been named an All-American by the NABC.  Augusta's Dimitri Gardner was named honorable mention by the D2CCA.

The senior guard came into the program after three seasons at Georgia Southwestern State and immediately made an impact for the Cougars during the 2023-24 season. Prior to the 2024-25 campaign, Adderton was a two-time All-PBC Third Team selection.
 
Adderton elevated to a new level in his final campaign, garnering conference, regional, and national honors for his stellar play on the hardwood. He garnered honors such as D2CCA Southeast Region Player of the Year, PBC Player of the Year, First-Team All-PBC, and NABC First-Team All-District to become one of the most decorated players in program history.
 
The Decatur, Ga. native averaged 19.8 points per contest against conference opponents and totaled 20.5 ppg in all competitions. He finished the season shooting or 48.1% from the field, 43.3% from three, and 85.4% from the foul line, scoring a total of 657 points. In addition, he snagged an average of 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per contest.
 
In just two seasons as a Cougar, Adderton as totaled 1,015 points for a career average of 18.5 ppg, shooting for 46.2% from the field, 43.6% from three, and 83.5% from the foul line in 55 appearances in the red and blue.
