Flagler's Sheedy named CSC Academic All-American

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025 Academic All-America teams for women’s volleyball this afternoon, with Flagler's Clare Sheedy being named to the second team.

Sheedy adds CSC Academic All-American to an impressive list of accolades. Sheedy was named AVCA All-American Honorable mention for the second season, while also receiving AVCA and D2CCA First Team All-Region honors for her performances in the 2025 season. The PBC Setter of the Year was also named first team All-Conference and PBC All-Tournament Team.

The Division II team had a 3.96 cumulative GPA with 12 team members maintaining a 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate and/or graduate studies.

To qualify for the CSC Academic All-America® program, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and participate in a specified percentage of athletic contests. The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
