Three PBC Women's Basketball Players named D2CCA All-Region

The 2026 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Women's Basketball All-Southeast Region Teams were announced Thursday with three Peach Belt Conference players receiving recognition. Columbus State's Letiya Reeves was named first team all-region, while North Georgia's Averie Jones and Augusta's Quinasia Abercrombie were both named second team all-region.

PBC Player of the Year, Letiya Reeves was a central figure in Columbus State's success throughout the year, leading the Cougars with 17.7 points per game while appearing in and starting all 29 contests. The senior guard accumulated 514 total points while shooting 39.8 percent (170-of-427) from the field and 32.0 percent (55-of-172) from three-point range. She also demonstrated efficiency at the free-throw line, converting 81.0 percent (119-of-147) of her attempts. In addition to her scoring ability, Reeves contributed across multiple facets of the game. She recorded 143 rebounds (4.9 per game), 98 assists, and 61 steals, while averaging 27.2 minutes per contest. Her leadership and all-around play helped guide Columbus State to a strong season and postseason appearance.

Averie Jones earned the honor after a standout campaign in which she led the Nighthawks in scoring and established herself as one of the Peach Belt Conference's most dangerous perimeter shooters. The guard appeared in and started 31 games, averaging 32.9 minutes per game while leading the team with 17.5 points per contest, a mark that ranked second in the Peach Belt Conference. Jones also paced the conference in three-point shooting and knocked down 88 three-pointers, the second-most in a single season in program history. Her performance throughout the year also earned her First Team All-Peach Belt Conference honors.

PBC Tournament MVP, Quinasia Abercrombie played a key role in the success of the Jaguars this season, securing their first PBC Tournament title in 33 years. The sophomore guard led Augusta in scoring with 16.6 points per game while playing in all 30 games, averaging 32.2 minutes per game. Abercrombie was also dominant off the glass, averaging 7.1 rebounds per game. Her performance throughout the year also earned her First Team All-Peach Belt Conference honors.

Sports information directors select the D2CCA All-Region teams from institutions across the region. First Team honorees advance to the national ballot for consideration for D2CCA All-America honors.
