With the final weekend of the PBC men’s lacrosse regular season approaching, no seeds have been determined for the PBC Tournament. This document breaks down all possible tiebreaks in the men’s lacrosse standings ahead of the final weekend. The PBC Tournament bracket will be released following the conclusion of the final regular season game between Virginia State and UAH on Sunday, April 19^th.

#4 and #5 Seed Outcomes: UAH (0-3) and Virginia State (0-3)
Virginia State and UAH play on Sunday in a game that will decide the #4 and #5 seeds. The winner of the game will receive the #4 seed in the PBC Tournament, with the loser receiving the #5 seed. 
The #4 seed will host the #5 seed on Tuesday, April 21^st in the PBC Tournament Play-In game.

 #1, #2 and #3 Seed Outcomes: Montevallo (3-0), Flagler (3-1) and Lander (2-1)
Montevallo currently sits on a 3-0 record in conference play and face Lander (2-1) on Saturday. Flagler has completed their conference schedule and will end the season with a 3-1 record. 
The result of Montevallo vs Lander will determine the #1, #2 and #3 seeds.
The #1 seed will host the final four teams for the PBC Tournament Semifinals on Friday, April 24^th  and Championship Game on Sunday, April 26^th.
 
Montevallo vs Lander Outcome 1: Montevallo Wins:
There would be no ties in the standings and Montevallo (4-0) would be #1 seed, Flagler (3-1) would be #2 seed and Lander (2-2) would be #3 seed. 
 
Montevallo vs Lander Outcome 2: Lander Wins:
There would be a three-team tie for first place. All three teams would be crowned PBC Regular Season Champions. Montevallo (3-1), Flagler (3-1) and Lander (3-1) would then be seeded based on the PBC tiebreak procedure. 
 
The first step in the tiebreak process is head-to-head results. All three teams will enter a mini conference to determine their head-to-head results.
In order for the tie to occur, Lander would win vs Montevallo. This has been depicted in the information below.

All teams in the mini conference have the same head-to-head results and no ties were broken so we proceed to the next step in the tiebreak process, which is to compare each team’s results vs the highest seed not involved in the tie and continue until the tie is broken.
The next highest seed is the #4 seed, which has not yet been determined. 

• If UAH is the #4 seed, all three teams won vs UAH
• If Virginia State is the #4 seed, all three teams won vs VSU

All three teams have the same results vs each team not in the tiebreak, so we proceed to the next step in the tiebreak process, which is goal differential against all conference opponents (not just those involved in the tie) with a maximum of 12 per game.
