With the conference tournament set to begin tomorrow, the Peach Belt Conference has revealed the 2026 men’s tennis All-Conference teams. Post season awards are nominated and voted for by the league’s coaches. Coaches are not permitted to vote for their own players. Columbus State claimed a trio of awards as Thomas Cardona was named Player of the Year, Hugo Didier was named Freshman of the Year and Evan Isaac was named Coach of the Year. Augusta’s Arthur Valette receives the Elite 18 Award, given to the player participating in the championship with the highest cumulative GPA.
PBC Player of the Year
Thomas Cardona, Columbus State
Senior
- The senior from Medellin, Colombia went undefeated at #1 singles in conference play with a 6-0 record
- Currently ranked #9 in the nation, Cardona has a 14-2 overall record at #1 singles this season, with notable wins over #5 Liborio (UNG), #8 Pugh (Lander), #18 Mail (Embry-Riddle), #34 Bosse (VSU), #37 Rafiq (Flagler), #44 Martin (GCSU), #49 Rosselini (Wingate), and #67 Bonaiuti (AUM)
- In doubles play, Cardona boasts a 12-5 record alongside teammate Samer Al Tori
- Cardona is the fifth Cougar to be named PBC Player of the Year, and the seventh time a Cougar has received the award
PBC Freshman of the Year

- The freshman from Orsay, France ended conference play with a 5-1 record at #2 singles
- Currently ranked #37 in the nation, Didier has a 12-4 overall record at #2 singles this season, with notable wins over #11 Borlee (Flagler) and #27 Rosselini (ERAU)
- Didier competed three times at #3 doubles with a 2-1 record
- Didier is the sixth Cougar to be named PBC Freshman of the Year, and the first since 2021
PBC Coach of the Year
Evan Isaacs, Columbus State
27th Season
- Isaacs, the winningest coach in Peach Belt Conference men’s tennis history, claims PBC Coach of the Year for the eight time
- Isaacs led Columbus State to a 17-2 record on the season and a perfect 6-0 record in conference play
- The Cougars enter the post-season on an eight-game winning streak, ranked #4 in the nation by the ITA
PBC Elite 18 Award

- The PBC Elite 18 Award is presented at each of the PBC's 18 championships to the student-athlete competing with the highest cumulative GPA
- Competed in 18 matches this season for Augusta
- Had a 9-7 record in singles and a 6-10 record in doubles
