HILTON HEAD, SC -- The University of North Georgia was presented with the LeeAnn Noble Make-A-Wish Award for Most Funds Raised while Georgia Southwestern State University earned the Most Improved Award at the league’s annual awards dinner on Tuesday at Hilton Head.

Georgia Southwestern earns the Most Improved Award after boosting their giving by over 97% this past academic year.
The NCAA Division II is a proud national partner of Make-A-Wish America, celebrating 21 years of wish granting since 2003. In partnership with student athletes and schools across the country, we have raised millions of dollars and brought hope and joy to hundreds of wish kids and their families when they needed it most.
The PBC Make-A-Wish awards were renamed the LeeAnn Noble Make-A-Wish Awards following the 2013-14 season. Noble was a women's golfer at the University of North Georgia and former wish recipient from Make-A-Wish. She appeared on the cover of NCAA Champion Magazine in the fall of 2013 and sadly passed away in March of 2014. Her dedication to the Make-A-Wish program will live on with these awards that will forever bear her name.
