Fan Information
Spectators are welcome to follow players throughout the tournament, per NCAA guidelines. There is no charge to attend. Spectators who are walking must either stay on the cart paths or in the rough at least 50 yards away from players at all times. A limited number of spectator carts will be available on a first-come, first serve daily basis. Cost per spectator cart will be determined by the club and can be paid for in the King and Bear Clubhouse on each day of competition. No spectator carts are allowed for the practice round.
Communication between spectators and players is prohibited and may result in a penalty to the player as it can be seen by a third party (fellow competitor or a coach from another team) as giving advice to the player.
The penalty for a player asking for and/or receiving advice from a spectator is two strokes. The definition of advice is "advice is any counsel or suggestion that could influence a player in determining his play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke."
