Men’s Basketball Player of the Week: Landrius Horton, Columbus State

Horton averaged 24.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game as the Cougars won a pair of PBC contests last week. The senior guard from Decatur, Ga., scored a career-high 29 in a 92-79 win over Georgia College, adding nine rebounds. He followed that with 20 points and 12 rebounds in a five-point win over UNC Pembroke. He shot 63% from the field 82% from the line and hit two of his five three-point attempts with 2.5 steals and 2.0 assists per game. Horton is currently seventh in the PBC in scoring and 12th in rebounding.
