YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. | Mikkel Golling scored twice in the second half to lead No. 1-ranked Young Harris College to a 2-0 victory over No. 19 Limestone University in the second round of the 2021 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Tournament Sunday (Nov. 21) afternoon at the YHC Soccer and Lacrosse Field.
The Mountain Lions, who are the top seed in Super Region 2, improved to 18-0-1, while the Saints, the super region's eighth seed, end their season at 18-0-1. Young Harris will now host the third and quarterfinals of the tournament Dec. 2 and 4. The Mountain Lions will face No. 5 seed Auburn University Montgomery in a 6 p.m. third round match Dec. 2. AUM defeated No. 4 seed University of Tampa 1-0 in double overtime in their second round match.
