Stanford continues to impress during his freshman season. The guard from Virginia Beach, Va., led all scorers in Lander's 83-71 win over Columbus State in the Bearcat's conference opener. He contributed 22 points on Friday along with six rebounds and two blocks to help Lander win its fifth straight game. He also went 8-of-13 from the field and 4-of-6 from 3-point range. Stanford cracked the PBC’s top 25 in scoring with his effort. He is third on the team in scoring and leads the squad in free throw percentage.
