Kennesaw State University won their first PBC League of Legends championship on Saturday, defeating Florida Southern 3-0 in the final. With the win, the Owls advance to the Collegiate League of Legends national championship tournament. Florida Southern will also get a berth in the national bracket after reaching the PBC final. The tournament was presented by Studio Architects.
The Owls, the second seed in the PBC red division, advanced the final after defeating Augusta in the quarterfinal and blue #1 seed North Georgia in the semifinal. This was the first year KSU had participated in the PBC; the Owls joined as an Associate Member. Florida Southern is in their second season as an associate member and made the final for the first time.
The Collegiate League of Legends championship bracket will be announced in the coming weeks.
