KENNESAW, GA -- The Peach Belt Conference spring Esports Championships will begin this Friday, April 4, at Kennesaw State University. The conference will host tournaments for League of Legends and Valorant with the winners of both titles advancing to their respective national collegiate championships in partnership with publisher RIOT! Games.
The event will be held on the Marietta campus of Kennesaw State University in the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center. Play will begin for Valorant on Friday at 12:30 pm and for League of Legends at 2:00 pm. Converse University is the defending tournament champions in League of Legends while host Kennesaw State is the defending Valorant champion.
In addition to the full tournament for the Masters Division, the Champions Division tier will hold their championship game on Saturday. The Champions Division playoffs began last weekend online. Florida State Panana City will meet Centre College in the League of Legends final with Lander and Montevallo facing off in Valorant.
Admission to the event is free.
