EVANSVILLE, IND – Flagler’s Jaizec Lottie and Georgia College’s Jordan Thomas were two of the 15 players selected to participate in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) – Reese’s Division II College All-Star Game, which will be held Friday at 7 p.m. EDT at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
The Division II All-Star Game, held in conjunction with the 2022 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Elite Eight, features the top senior talent across Division II.
Lottie is a two-time NABC All-American and All-District selection. He is a two-time Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year and earned first team all-conference honors both years. Lottie is a six-time PBC Player of the Week.
The Aurora, Colorado native has had an outstanding career for the Saints. He made the most 3-point field goals in a game (10) and holds the all-time season records for points (709) and free throws made (163). Lottie became the 24th player to surpass the 1,000-point milestone and he finished 13th in scoring with 1,197 points in only 51 games.
Thomas averaged 17.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game this year. He had nine games with 20-plus points, including a season-best 32 at Clayton State University Feb. 19.
The senior from Conyers, Ga., finished fourth in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) in scoring, second in three-pointers per game at 3.0, and 10th in assists per contest.
Thomas became only the third PBC men’s basketball player to be named All-Conference four times. He finished his stellar career fourth on the PBC’s all-time scoring list with 2,219 points. He is also second all-time in made three-pointers with 314.
