Flagler volleyball adds D1 transfer Annie Bart

ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College volleyball head coach Skylar Lopas announced the addition of NCAA Division I transfer Annie Bart to the 2022 roster. She is one of four newcomers to this fall's team.

Bart, a Wauconda, Illinois native played last fall at Binghamton (N.Y.) University, a member of the America East Conference. She finished the season tied for fourth on the team with 11 aces. Bart added 121 digs and 78 kills. Bart recorded a double-double with a season-high 12 kills and 12 digs at Morgan State University (Aug. 28). She recorded a season-high 16 digs at Siena College (Sept. 15).

"We are very excited to have Annie join the Flagler volleyball family," said Lopas. "Her experience, athleticism, and ability to play the whole game will allow her to compete immediately. Through the recruiting process it was clear Annie fit our championship culture and we cannot wait to have her join our program."

Prior to her time at Binghamton, Bart prepped at Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois. She earned Under Armour All-American honors as a senior. Bart was an honorable mention all-state as a junior and took home All-East Suburban Catholic Conference honors as well. She was a two-time team offensive player of the year. Bart helped lead the Corsairs to a 33-6 overall record and the Class 3A regional title as a junior. She was a member of the Sky High Volleyball Club.

The Saints will open the volleyball season with the Flagler Saints Invitational on Aug. 26 and 27.
