Player of the Week - Tanyia Gordon, Lander
- A junior guard from Plant City, Fla., opened the week with a 30-point game against Auburn Montgomery where she shot 14-19 from the field and followed that up with a team-leading 15-point performance against Fayetteville State which included 8 points in the fourth quarter; she also assisted on teh game-winning bucket with 0.7 seconds left in the 58-56 win
- Averaged 22.5 points per game for the week while shooting 59% (20-34) from the field with 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game
- Her 30 points against AUM is the most in a single game by any PBC player so far this season; she is currently eighth in the PBC in scoring, third in field goal percentage and eighth in blocks
Men's Basketball
Player of the Week - Frank Champion, North Georgia
- A junior forward from Lithonia, Ga., he averaged 26.6 points over three games last week with 9.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game; he shot 63% (34-54) from the field and played 113 of a possible 120 minutes
- He had two double-doubles with 26 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Tusculum, just missing a triple-double with nine assists, and 24 points, 10 rebounds in a loss to Saint Leo; finished with 30 points, six rebounds and six assists in a win at #25 Florida Southern, hitting 14 of 19 shots from the floor
- Tied for the lead in NCAA Division II in double-doubles; is also ranked nationally in: assists per game - 5th; points per game - 17th, blocks - 18th, rebounds per game - 36th
