Women's Tennis Player of the Week: Nadja Meier, Flagler

Meier rose to the occasion at the ITA Indoor National Championships, going 3-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles. The junior from Potsdam, Germany, defeated seventh-ranked Claudia Borbon Roca of #3 Saint Leo 6-3, 6-0 in her opening match at second singles. She also partnered with Dana Heimen to beat the St. Leo team of Obermeier and Shailina 6-3 at #2 doubles. She beat #8 Central Oklahoma's Blythe Buntrock 6-1, 6-2 and #7 Indianapolis' Margarita Andreiuk 6-1, 6-2 to finish the weekend unblemished. Her other two doubles matches were unfinished. Meier improves to 5-0 in dual matches this spring, all at #2 singles, and is 3-0 in doubles.
