Santoro had a 5-1 record this week over three matches. The sophomore from Santa Ursula, Spain, teamed with Emma Fleming at first doubles, nabbing a 6-1 win over Augusta and a 6-1 win over Savannah State before falling to Flagler's #18 ranked pairing of Dana Heimen and Luisa Hrda 6-3. In singles action, she played in the fourth slot and beat Augusta's Silvana Figueroa 6-2, 6-2. She then topped SSU's Sunzhara Banks in a shutout, then upset Flagler's #57 Eryka Kruk 7-6[3], 7-6[6]. Santoro improves to 13-0 in singles play this year.
