Women's Track Athlete of the Week: Ukeyvia Beckwith, Embry-Riddle
Beckwith improved upon her PBC-best time in the 800 at the UCF Knights Invitational last weekend, winning the event in 2:06.00. The All-American graduate student from Orlando, Fla., bested a field of 54 sprinters which included competitors from seven Division I programs and several unattached runners. That time is over six seconds under the NCAA provisional qualifying mark and is the fastest run in NCAA Division II so far this season. It is also less than 0.8 seconds off the PBC record. Beckwith has now won three of the four meets she has entered, finishing second in the fourth.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week: Maisonne Jones, USC Beaufort
Jones soared past the NCAA provisional mark as she finished in fifth place in the long jump at the Weems Baskin Relays last weekend. The senior from Suwanee, Ga., hit 5.84 meters on her third attempt, less than five inches from the winning distance. That jump is the longest in the Peach Belt so far this season by over two feet and is the 12th-longest in NCAA Division II.
