Women's Tennis Player of the Week: Nadja Meier, Flagler

Meier won all three of her singles matches last week, two against nationally ranked competition. The junior from Potsdam, Germany, defeated No. 66 Johanna Lippert of North Georgia, 6-3 and 7-6(0), and then took down No. 18 Dinara Alloiarova of top-ranked Barry, 6-2 and 6-3. It was the first time since Feb. 10, 2018, that a Flagler player defeated a Barry player in a singles match. Meier has won 22 consecutive singles matches. She went 2-1 in doubles play with two different teammates. Ranked #7 nationally by the ITA in singles, Meier has the best singles record of any PBC player at 18-0 in dual match play this spring.
