Peach Belt Releases Volleyball Tournament Bracket

AUGUSTA, GA -- The Peach Belt Conference has released the bracket for the 2024 Volleyball Tournament. The event will begin with a play-in game on Tuesday, Nov. 19, between the #4 and #5 seeds. The winner of that will join the top three seeds in Greenwood, S.C., at Lander University, the #1 seed for the event, on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22 and 23.

Lander is the top seed of the tournament for the first time in program history. The Bearcats won the PBC regular-season on Friday night with a 3-1 win at Flagler to finish with a 7-1 mark in conference play, 20-4 overall. Lander has won five straight heading into the postseason, the longest current winning streak in the conference.

Flagler will be the #2 seed. The Saints won seven of eight heading into tournament play and have their highest seeding since 2021. The seven-time tournament champions will be looking for another title after winning in 2022.

Augusta will be the #4 and host the Tuesday play-in game against #5 Georgia College & State University.
