LEXINGTON, KY -- Three Peach Belt Conference volleyball players were named All-Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Flagler's Jordan Berglin and Molly Boyd along with Lander's Katie Miller were all named to the team and are now all eligible for All-America consideration. Flagler's Clare Sheedy and Augusta's Sophia Kruczko were named honorable mention.
Berglin was a first-team All-Conference selection and named the PBC Tournament Most Valuable Player after racking up 23 kills in the championship match as Flagler won the title. The senior is second in the PBC in kills per set.
Boyd was also a first-team All-Conference selection at middle blocker and leads the league with a .379 hitting percentage heading into the NCAA regional. Ranked 20th nationally in hitting percentage, the senior is also third in the PBC in kills per set and fourth in blocks per set.
The 2024 PBC Player of the Year, Miller led the Peach Belt and the entire southeast region with 4.29 kills per set which is also ninth in NCAA Division II. Named the PBC Player of the Week five times, she is also ranked second in the league in aces, sixth in digs and sixth in hitting percentage.
The NCAA Regional begins on Friday in Wingate, N.C.
