DAYTONA BEACH, FLA -- The Embry-Riddle University Eagles won eight total events and captured the 2024 Peach Belt Conference men's outdoor track & field championship for the seventh straight time. The Eagles finished with a team score of 295.5, the most-ever in a PBC Championship.
Flagler was second with 140 points while Augusta was third and Columbus State fourth.
Two new meet records were set on Tuesday. Embry-Riddle's Brendon Shae ran the 5000m in 14:35.65, breaking the old meet mark of 14:50.07 set in 2015.
Flagler's Kaleb Hollins won the 800m in 1:50.25, setting a new PBC Championships and overall conference record with his time. The previous meet and overall record was 1:50.30 set in 2021.
