North Georgia ranked #4, Columbus State ranked #24 in WBCA Preseason Top 25

North Georgia enter the 2025-26 season ranked #4 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Preseason Top 25. Columbus State joins them in the rankings at #24. 

The Nighthawks completed the 2024-25 season with a 31-3 record, winning both the PBC Regular Season title & the PBC Tournament title. The Nighthawks received the #1 seed in the NCAA Southeast Region and ended their season in the championship game. The Nighthawks received one first place vote in the WBCA Preseason poll. #4 North Georgia open their season on November 7th in the D2CCA Tip-Off Classic vs RV Ferris State. 

Columbus State closed out the 2024-25 season with a 21-9 record. The Cougars came second in the PBC Standings, and received the #5 seed in the NCAA Southeast Region, advancing to the second round. #24 Columbus State open their season on November 14th vs Tusculum.
