Saints Return to NCAA Tournament for Second Consecutive Season

Just two days following their dramatic PBC Tournament victory that earned the Saints an automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament, the NCAA has released the 40 team field for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Flagler has received the #8 seed in the NCAA Super Region 2.

The PBC is one of six conferences in the south and southeast region that make up the NCAA Super Region 2. 10 teams receive bids to the NCAA Tournament, with six automatic bids accounting for over half of the total spots in the region. #1 Palm Beach Atlantic and #2 Lynn will serve as the two hosts for Super Region 2.

In the most recent NCAA regional rankings, the Saints earned the eleventh pick in Super Region 2. Knowing they were on the edge of a tournament berth, the Saints secured the automatic bid following a dramatic victory in overtime vs North Georgia on Saturday. This is the second consecutive season the Saints have secured their place in the tournament with a victory over the #1 seed in the PBC Tournament Championship. The Saints return to the national stage for the seventh time overall.

#8 Flagler will open NCAA Tournament play on Friday, November 21st vs #9 Young Harris in West Palm Beach at 3:00pm.
