The PBC Announce the 2025 Volleyball All-Conference Teams

Following the conclusion of an exhillarating regular season, the Peach Belt Conference has announced the 2025 Volleyball All-Conference team. Post season awards are nominated and voted for by the league’s coaches. Coaches are not permitted to vote for their own players. Lander's Katie Miller repeats as PBC Player of the Year, Augusta's Giulia Rodrigues claims the PBC Libero/ Defensive Specialist of the Year, Flagler's Clare Sheedy claims PBC Setter of the Year. Augusta's Sofiia Snitsarevych secured PBC Freshman of the Year and Flagler's Jeff Reynolds is tabbed PBC Coach of the Year. All 'of the year' awards are presented by College Ave.  

PBC Player of the Year, Presented by College Ave
Katie Miller, Lander
Senior, Outside Hitter
  • Miller reclaims her title as PBC Player of the Year, having won the award for the first time in 2024 when she became the first Lander player in history to claim PBC Player of the Year honors
  • The six-time PBC Player of the Week leads the PBC in kills (447), kills per set (4.47), service aces (55), aces per set (0.55), points (530.5) and points per set (5.31)
  • The four-time PBC First Team All-Conference selection has recorded 16 double doubles this season, along with eight 20+ kill matches
  • Miller is just ten kills away from the PBC All-Time Career Kills record of 1906, as she sits on 1896 career kills
 
PBC Libero/ Defensive Specialist of the Year, Presented by College Ave
Giulia Rodrigues, Augusta
Graduate, Libero/ Defensive Specialist
  • Rodrigues is the first Augusta player to be named PBC Libero/Defensive Specialist of the Year
  • Rodrigues leads the PBC in digs (538) and digs per set (4.72)
  • She had 11 games this season with 20+ digs, including a season high 31 vs GCSU
 
PBC Setter of the Year, Presented by College Ave
Clare Sheedy, Flagler
Senior, Setter
  • Fifth Flagler player in history to win PBC Setter of the Year, and the first since Kennedy Muff’s three-peat in 2022
  • Sheedy leads the way in the PBC in assists (1193) and assists per set (10.37), is second in service aces (42) and is fourth in aces per set (0.37)
  • Sheedy had fourteen 40+ assist games, with a season high 59 assists vs Francis Marion
 
PBC Freshman of the Year, Presented by College Ave
Sofiia Snitsarevych, Augusta
Freshman, Outside Hitter
  • First Augusta player since 2016 to be named PBC Freshman of the Year, and the fifth Jaguar in history to receive the award
  • Second in the PBC in total blocks (120) and blocks per set (1.03), with a season high eight total blocks vs Lees-McRae
  • Snitsarevych totaled 249 kills, averaging 2.13 per set, finishing six games with double figure kills
 
PBC Coach of the Year, Presented by College Ave
Jeff Reynolds, Flagler
1st Season
  • Reynolds repeats as PBC Coach of the Year, and receives the honor for the third time in four years, with the two previous honors received during his time at Lander
  • This is Reynolds first season leading the Saints, as he secured Flagler’s first PBC Regular Season title since 2021 
  • Reynolds also brought hosting rights back to St. Augustine for the first time since 2021, as the Saints received the #1 seed in the PBC Tournament
 
PBC Volleyball Elite 18 Award
Lilly Swanson, GCSU
Junior, Setter
  • The PBC Elite 18 Award is presented at each of the PBC's 18 championships to the student-athlete competing with the highest cumulative GPA. Swanson entered the 2025 season with a 4.0 GPA
  • Swanson played in 19 sets this season for the Bobcats
  • Swanson is the first Bobcat since 2016 to earn the Elite 18 award, and just their second in program history
