Hungerford named United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-America

United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced its Women's Soccer All-America teams following the 2025 season with Columbus State University's (CSU) Sarah Hungerford earning second team honors.  Hungerford led the PBC with 12 goals, nine assists and 33 points. 

Hungerford was named PBC Offensive Player of the Year and was the Gold Ball Award recipient, leading the leauge in all offensive statistics. Her contributions carried CSU to the PBC Tournament title, and a bid to the NCAA Southeast Region Tournament. Hungerford earned first team all region honors from the United Soccer Coaches. Her All-American status adds to her 2024 honors, where she was named both D2CCA and USC All American. 

Among the 36 players receiving women’s All-American recognition, six student-athletes are earning the second All-America honors of their careers: Dallas Baptist University senior defender Parker Coe; Cal Poly Pomona senior forward Vanessa Cruz; Columbus State University midfielder Sarah Hungerford; Grand Valley State University defender Kacy Lauer; Western Washington senior forward Morgan Manalili and University of West Florida senior forward Mya Swinton.

This year’s All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pa., in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
