AUGUSTA, GA -- On the eve of the PBC Championships at Forest Hills Golf Club, the Peach Belt Conference has released the 2025 women's golf All-Conference team. Flagler's Stella Jelinek was named the Player of the Year with North Georgia's Ellie Jane Riner the Freshman of the Year. Flagler's Santiago Cavanagh was named the Coach of the Year.
Columbus State's Laura DeLaubert was named the winner of the Elite 18 Award, presented by Barnes & Noble College. The award is presented to the championship participant with the highest cumulative GPA.
Jelinek becomes the first PBC women's golfer to be named the league's Player of the Year three years in a row. A junior from Leimen, Germany, she tied the PBC's all-time career wins record with seven after winning both the Rollins Legends Invitational and the World Golf Invitational this year. In eight tournaments, she finished in the top five six times, most in the PBC. Currently ranked #4 in the nation by Scoreboard, highest of any PBC golfer, she has shot par or under in 12 of 22 rounds played.
Riner played in all nine events for North Georgia in her first collegiate season, finishing in the top 10 four times and the top five once. A freshman from Havana, Fla., she finished in fifth place at the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational and was sixth at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, shooting a four-under 68 in the first round which is tied for the team's low round of the season. Riner becomes the second Nighthawk to be named the Freshman of the Year, following Madeline Ananthsane in 2021.
Santiago Cavanagh wins the Coach of the Year honor for the seventh time overall and third year in a row. In his 16th season as the women's golf coach at Flagler, his Saints are currently ranked #2 in the nation by Scoreboard and the WGCA. Flagler has won four tournaments this season and have not finished outside of the top five in any of their eight events. The defending PBC Champions, Flagler currently has a 291.27 team stroke average, on pace to be the lowest in conference history.
The all-conference team is listed below as selected by the league's head coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.
