Eight PBC Athletes to Compete in NCAA Track & Field Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, IND -- Eight Peach Belt Conference athletes will compete in 10 events at the 2025 NCAA Track & Field National Championships. Embry-Riddle will send three men and four women to the finals with Augusta sending one. The four men's competitors is the most the PBC has had in the nationals since 2019 while the women will compete in five events for the first time since 2018.

Avery Jaynes

  • Will make his first appearance at the NCAA Championships and becomes the first Jaguar to compete at the nationals since 2013
  • Set the PBC all-time records in the 5k and 10k this season; ran the 5k in 13:51.61 and the 10k in 28:59.21...won both events at the PBC Championships

Ryan Flournoy

  • Flournoy is back on the national stage for the third year in a row competing in the javelin.
  • A senior from Orlando, Florida, Flournoy will look to improve on the fourth-place finish that earned him All-America honors a year ago.

Antonio Caito

  • Caito qualified for the outdoor national championships in the triple jump for the second straight year.
  • He bettered his own program record with a leap of 15.78m at the Running Elements Classic which stands as the fourth best mark in NCAA II this season

Kobe Diggs

  • Diggs is making his first national championship appearance.
  • The junior qualified in the triple jump with a personal best mark of 15.36m at the Peach Belt Conference Championships.

Brooklynn Gould

  • Gould is a multi-event athlete who is making her third straight national championship appearance and her second this season.
  • She was a Second Team All-American in the pentathlon at the 2025 NCAA II indoor championships and earned Second Team All-America honors in the heptathlon in 2024.
  • Gould scored a program-record 5,260 points in the heptathlon at the Bryan Clay Multi Event which ranks eighth in NCAA II this season. 

Maxi Kirschner

  • Kirschner is making her first national championship appearance after narrowly missing the cut in 2024.
  • Kirschner qualified with a program-best thrown of 46.45m in the javelin at the Terry Long FSU Relays.

Mikaela Miles

  • Miles has qualified for her fifth national championship event in the triple jump.
  • The junior finished third in the triple jump at the 2025 NCAA II indoor championships and is looking to improve on her fifth-place finish at the outdoor nationals in 2024.
  • Miles broke her own program record at the Peach Belt Conference Championships with a leap of 12.87m which ranks third in NCAA II this year.

Taylor Roth

  • Roth is also making her national championship debut becoming just the third woman in the Eagles' NCAA II era to qualify in the 800m.
  • Roth ran the fastest 800m race of her career with a time of 2:07.48 at last weekend's Lee Last Chance meet to secure a spot in the national championship field.
