GAINESVILLE, GA -- The Flagler Saints held on to the lead at the 2025 NCAA South Regional, but their margin was halved after 36 holes of play. The Saints fired a second-round 293 and sit at 583 with 18 holes to go, just one stroke ahead of Nova Southeastern and seven ahead of Lynn.
North Georgia is in fourth place with Lander tied for fifth. The regional is being contested at the Chattahochee Golf Club in Gainesville (par-72, 6,168 yards) and hosted by North Georgia.
Flagler's Henriette Stranda and Lander's Kajsa Lindqvist are tied for the individual lead with West Florida's Millie Thompson. All three players are two-under 142 for the tournament.
Lindqvist was tied with UNG's Ellie Rippee for low round of the day with a three-under 69. Lindqvist jumped 13 spots on the leader board with five birdies and two bogeys in her round. She went bogey-free on the front nine with birdies at the fourth and sixth, going out in 34.
Stranda followed her opening-round 72 with a two-under-par 70 on Tuesday. She was also bogey-free on the front nine with two birdies and had four birdies on the back.
The top four teams and top two individuals not on an advancing team following Wednesday's round will advance to the national championships.
Flagler's Victoria Veator and Jordyn Hodgson both fired one-over 73 on Tuesday. Veator sits in 10th place and Hodgson in 12th. Stella Jelinek shot 77 and is in 33rd.
Rippee led North Georgia with a 69 that featured an eagle on the fifth hole and three birdies. She jumped 31 spots on the individual leaderboard and is tied for 10th. Jadin Ware fired a 73 and is tied for 33rd with Ellie Jane Riner, who shot a 76. Abby Franks shot 79 and is in 15th.
Gracie McCoy is second to Lindqvist for Lander, shooting a 75 for 15th place. Josephine Winkle also had a 75 as did Sakurako Tanaka. Winkle is currently 33rd and Tanaka 71st.
