TEMPE, ARIZ -- Six Peach Belt Conference women's tennis players have been named All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Columbus State's Nikoline Gullacksen and Mariana Ramirez, Flagler's Dana Heimen and Anastasia Nikolova and North Georgia's Angelina Linnikova and Carolina Reis were all named All-Americans in doubles. Gullacksen, Heimen and Linnikova were also named All-Americans in singles.
The criteria for ITA All-American singles honors are finishing in the top 20 of the final ITA National Singles Rankings. All-American recognition is awarded to doubles teams who finish in the top 10 of the final ITA National Doubles Rankings.
Gullacksen was tabbed the DII Southeast Region's Most Improved Player for this season and has been a staple in the national ranks. The First-Team All-PBC selection has now become a two-time ITA All-American, completing the 2024-25 campaign with an 18-6 overall record. She captured the ITA Southeast Regional Singles Championship and made a semifinal appearance at the ITA Cup in the fall.
As for doubles, Gullacksen and Ramirez were a threat to be reckoned with this season as one of the top doubles pairings in the nation. The duo finished with a 14-4 overall record and a 3-1 record in PBC action. They paired up for the ITA Southeast Regional Doubles Championship and won the title earlier this season.
For the second time in her career, Heimen received honors in doubles. This is the first time in Nikolova's career she has received any honors. The duo finished the year ranked fourth in the nation, with their peak coming at No. 3 for the past seven rankings. Throughout the season, they put up a 19-7 record in the regular season and a 7-2 record in tournaments. Heimen and Nikolova were 6-3 through their last 10 matches. Against ranked opponents, they had four wins, three of which came against top 10 opponents. The biggest upset of the season for the two came while they were unranked against then No. 6 Tanya Midzi and Narindra Ranaivo of the University of Nebraska-Kearney, 7-5. That following match, the two went on to defeat No. 9 Avery Durham and Eva Shwartz of Angelo State University, 6-3, while being ranked No. 24. In their last win of the season, the duo defeated No. 7 Angelina Linnikova and Carolina Reis of the University of North Georgia, 7-5.
Heimen added to her decorated career earning her first All-America honor in singles. Boasting the most wins by a Saint this season, Heimen ended the year with a 31-9 record, including a four-match win streak. Through her last 10 matches, she went 7-1. Against nationally ranked opponents, Heimen had a 9-4 record, with three of those wins coming against top-10 opponents. The highest ranked opponent she defeated was No. 5 Alina Michalitsch 6-3 and 6-2, in the NCAA Division II National Tournament semifinal against No. 1 Barry University.
Reis and Linnikova paired together to make up the No. 3 ranked doubles combo in the country. The two were named PBC Tournament Doubles MVPs and finished the year with an outstanding 11-2 record which included five wins over nationally ranked doubles pairings.
Linnikova's 18 doubles wins as a senior added to her 45 total victories for her career, the third-most in program history.
Reis finished her career with a sparkling 36-7 record in doubles competitions over two seasons. After going 23-3 during UNG's run to the National Semifinals last season, she posted a 13-4 mark in 2025 with a 5-2 record against ranked opponents.
This is the first All-American selection of Reis' career. She is the seventh ITA All-American in program history.
In singles, Linnikova ended her career as the best women's singles player in North Georgia history.
The redshirt senior from Irkutsk, Russia was UNG's #1 singles player in each of the last two seasons. She combined to go 46-4 in singles matches during that time. She made plenty of history along the way.
Ranked by ITA as the No. 2 women's singles player in the country, Linnikova earned the highest individual ranking in program history this season. She finished the year with a spotless 24-0 singles record, marking the best winning percentage and the most singles victories in one year in program history.
Those 24 victories contributed to her career grand total of 62 singles wins, the most in program history by seven victories. Linnikova competed in just three years of singles competition at a .912 winning percentage.
While in Dahlonega, Linnikova earned every award under the sun. The 2025 PBC and ITA Southeast Region Player of the Year was also a four-time PBC all-conference selection, eight-time PBC Player of the Week winner and a PBC Tournament MVP in singles and doubles.
