North Georgia's AJ White Named to Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List

DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) men's basketball guard AJ White has been named to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List by Small College Basketball the organization announced Thursday afternoon.

The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. The award encompasses players from Division II, Division III, the NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA.

This is White's third consecutive season being named to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List. So far this year, White leads UNG at 20.1 points per game, 3.8 assists per game, three-pointers made, field goals made and minutes played. 

White currently leads the Pech Belt Conference in points per game (20.1) and free throw percentage (87.5%) while ranking second in total points (282) this season.

Small College Basketball will announce the Bevo Francis Top 50 Watch List on Feb. 15. 

UNG has now had a player named to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List or better in four consecutive seasons.
