Reigning PBC Champions Flagler Tabbed 2026 Men's Tennis Preseason Favorites

For the third year in a row, Flagler have been selected as favorites for the 2026 season. The Saints received five first place votes from the league’s coaches, with Columbus State receiving two votes.  
 
The Saints captured the PBC Regular Season title and PBC Tournament title in 2025, going undefeated in conference play and securing their second consecutive Regular Season and Tournament titles. Flagler opened NCAA Tournament play with a win before falling to conference foe Columbus State in the second round. The Saints open the 2026 season ranked #3 nationally in the ITA coaches’ poll. 
 
Columbus State closed out the 2025 season second in the PBC standings. The Cougars fell in the PBC Tournament semi-finals, but continued to fight through the NCAA Tournament, bringing home two wins and advancing to the National Championship site. Columbus State open the 2026 season ranked #11 nationally in the ITA coaches’ poll. 
 
North Georgia closed out the 2025 regular season in a tie for third in conference. The Nighthawks built momentum in the PBC Tournament, making their way to the final before falling to Flagler. The Nighthawks continued that momentum into the NCAA Tournament, winning their first two matches and advancing to the National Championship site for the first time in program history. North Georgia opens the 2026 season ranked #10 nationally in the ITA coaches’ poll. 
 
Lander, GCSU, Augusta and Middle Georgia round out the Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The coaches' poll is below, followed by the preseason All-Conference team. Coaches were not permitted to rank their own team or vote for their own players.
