Jakobs finished at one-over-par and tied for sixth place at the loaded Barry University Invitational on Tuesday. The senior from Leudelange, Luxembourg, fired rounds of 72-73-72 to set a career-best 217 for the 54 holes, just two strokes out of the top five. She drained 39 pars – tied for second-most in the field – with seven birdies. She earned her third top-10 finish of the season in a field that featured eight teams ranked in the latest WGCA Top 25, including five of the top 10. Her 217 is the third-lowest 54-hole score in the PBC this season and she is third in the conference in stroke average.
