PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Kajsa Lindqvist surged five spots up the leaderboard with a one-under 71 in the final round of stroke play at the 2026 NCAA Championships Thursday to claim sole possession of fourth place.
Lindqvist (+3 for the tournament) started on Hole 10 this morning from PGA National and was one-over across the first nine holes. The senior from Sweden later found birdies on 3 and 7 to get under par on the day.
She tallied the second-most pars in the field this week (40). Lindqvist was among the top-10 in both par-4 and par-5 scoring and made six birdies in all.
Amely Bochaton of Wingate led wire-to-wire to win the tournament at 13-under, 13 shots ahead of second-place finisher Taylor Wilczek of St. Mary's (Texas). Lily Nelson (+1) was the highest-finishing individual in third, representing Henderson State; there were eight individuals competing.
Lindqvist tied for fourth in last year's edition of this event in Nevada, giving her back-to-back top-five results and the best NCAA Championships finishes in Lander history.
