Lippert went 3-0 on the week for the 18th-ranked Nighthawks. The sophomore from Hamburg, Germany, beat Augusta’s Edith Rueda Croda 7-5, 6-3 at #3 singles as both teams opened conference play. She also beat Queens’ Hanna Axelsson 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 at third singles. She partnered with Svetlana Teterina to beat Queens’ Veselinova and Klaassen 6-3 at #2 doubles, her only completed doubles match of the week. Lippert improves to 6-1 in singles play on the season, 5-2 in doubles.
